| A large contingent of West Lancashire Royal Ark Mariners travelled down to London for the Annual Investiture at Great Queen Street London on the 9th December 2024. | |

| The train was delayed for an hour due to a landslide around the Midlands, so it was a little bit of a rush to get from Euston to Gt Queen Street when we finally arrived in London Town, but we made it in the end. A number of others from around the country did not manage to get there on time for the meeting. | |

| Most Worshipful Brother John Herbert Prizeman Pro Grand Master, opened the meeting at 12.30pm and very efficiently and with charm and wit ran through the business of the day and completed all the agenda by circa 1.30pm. | |

| A brief sojourn to the George on Gt Queen was followed by thirty or so West Lancs Mariners dining in the Connaught Rooms. | |
 |
|
| A reassembly at the George after dining to regale with various tales was followed by a less eventful trip back to West Lancs on the train. | |
 |

| A Grand day out was had by all! | |
